Your Questions, Answered - Understanding Your Path to Wellbeing

Common Questions About Mental Health

Is Therapy Right For Me?

It’s normal to wonder if therapy is the right step for you. If you’re struggling with overwhelming emotions, difficult life situations, or simply a desire for personal growth, therapy can be a powerful tool for positive change. We can explore your concerns and determine if our services are a good fit.

How Does Therapy Work?

Therapy is a collaborative process designed to help you better understand yourself, your thoughts, and your feelings. Together, we will identify your goals, and work towards achieving them with evidence-based techniques, always in a safe and judgement-free space.

How Long Will Therapy Take?

The length of therapy varies for each individual depending on your specific goals. Some people benefit from a few sessions, while others may benefit from longer-term treatment. We will work with you to develop a treatment plan that’s aligned with your unique needs and progress.

Is Therapy Confidential?

Your privacy is of utmost importance to us. All sessions are completely confidential, and we adhere to strict professional and ethical standards for privacy. You can feel safe and secure sharing your thoughts and feelings with us.

How Much Does Therapy Cost?

We understand that cost is an important consideration, and we are committed to making therapy accessible. We will discuss costs, insurance coverage, and payment options during your initial consultation so that you can make an informed decision.

Will I Need Medication?

Medication can be a helpful tool for managing mental health conditions, but it’s not always necessary for everyone. We will carefully evaluate your needs, discuss all treatment options with you, and develop a personalized plan that may or may not include medication.

Here’s how you and your provider will work together.

Licensed Medical Provider
  • Provider assessment: A provider will review your intake and medical history to make a recommendation.
  • Treatment plan: If it’s right for you, you’ll get a prescription and personalized treatment plan.
  • Make adjustments: Your provider will work with you to find your ideal dosage or another medication if necessary.

Online therapy platforms, telehealth, telemedicine, and teletherapy are great for some conditions, but not all behavioral health issues or severity levels are appropriate for online treatment. As such, many but not all conditions or situations are treated through our platform (eg, substance abuse, eating disorders, schizophrenia, couples therapy and relationship issues, etc). Find out more by taking a free mental health assessment online. If you do not qualify for online treatment, consider in-person therapy, mental health counseling, psychiatry, psychotherapy, emotional support groups, family therapists, clinical social workers, pride counseling, or other appropriate care options.

We focus on providing exceptional care at an exceptional price and currently do not work with insurance companies or accept health insurance. Pricing is straightforward without the hassle of insurance providers and wondering what your insurance covers. We do not currently accept medicare or medicaid.

Our telehealth platform gives access to licensed healthcare providers that offer personalized treatment plans, if prescribed. In addition, we provide a number of free mental health resources like articles on our blog, and more. Our platform’s privacy and security is consistent with HIPAA standards.

The provider will call in the prescription directly to your pharmacy.

We currently serve clients in Florida, Ohio, South Carolina, and Pennsylvania.
